  7. the dress made from real flowers from alexander mcqueen’s spring 2007 collection “sarabande” featured here in the mcqueen ‘savage beauty’ exhibit at the MET this is one of my favourite designs by mcqueen and probably my favourite dress by any designer. when tanya dziahileva wore it during the runway show petals were falling off as she walked, it was so beautiful “Things rot. It was all about decay. I used flowers because they die”.- Alexander McQueen
